I have talked to several ford dealers and it has gone from no knowing what I've requested to at least £80 to perform the upgrade with no confirmation that it would actually fix the problem. After that I should be able to insert the SP4.1 CD and the upgrade should start. info file: sd2-FORDLSRNSKWesternEurope v2 Product Name: Western Europe SD Sat Nav (V7) I dont know and dont remember (where I found it). Get the newest workable MAPS for Travelpilot FX.
I updated my maps to 2010 but this still hasn't helped, from what I have read I need to use an original 2008 Maps CD by ejecting the SD card and telling the unit to use the CD. If someone wants, can create and give torr link for download.
I've obtained SP4.1 but there is no Update from CD option in my maintenance menu and inserting the SP4.1 CD just causes the headunit to say no music or MP3 CD inserted so the update doesn't start. Since installing USB Audio works fine but although I can see BT Audio in Convers+ its not available in the Headunit and if selected causing the Headunit to stop responding.īased on other threads I believe a firmware update will solve the problem as my unit has quite an old version: I've also upgraded the Bluetooth Module to support USB and BT Audio. I've made a couple of previous posts regarding the retrofit of a TravelPilot FX to my 58 plate Mondeo.
